Please read these terms and conditions carefully before engaging Nuvolt Electrical Solutions for any services.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Nuvolt Electrical Solutions (ABN 90 670 104 686) ("we", "us", "our"). By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting a quote, booking a service, or entering into any agreement with Nuvolt Electrical Solutions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all services provided by us, including electrical work, solar panel installation, battery storage systems, and any related services.
2. Services
Nuvolt Electrical Solutions provides a range of electrical and solar services, including but not limited to:
- Residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Solar photovoltaic (PV) system design and installation.
- Battery storage system supply and installation.
- Switchboard upgrades and electrical safety inspections.
- Emergency electrical services.
- EV charger installation.
All electrical work is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), AS/NZS 5033 (Solar PV installations), and AS/NZS 5139 (Battery storage). Our CEC-accredited installers ensure all solar work meets Clean Energy Council guidelines.
3. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by Nuvolt Electrical Solutions are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotes are based on the information provided to us at the time of assessment and may be subject to change if:
- Site conditions differ from what was described or assessed during the initial consultation.
- Additional work is requested by the customer beyond the original scope.
- Unforeseen issues are discovered during the course of work, such as non-compliant existing wiring or structural issues.
- Supplier pricing changes for materials or equipment between the date of the quote and the date of acceptance.
Any variations to the quoted price will be communicated to you in writing before additional work is carried out. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
4. Warranties
Nuvolt Electrical Solutions stands behind the quality of our work. We provide the following warranty coverage:
- 10-Year Workmanship Warranty: All installations performed by Nuvolt are covered by a 10-year workmanship warranty. This covers defects in installation and labour from the date of completion.
- Manufacturer Warranties: All products and equipment we supply are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty periods vary by product and will be outlined in your project documentation.
- Australian Consumer Law: Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications, acts of nature (such as storm damage or lightning strikes), or failure to maintain the system in accordance with our recommendations.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuvolt Electrical Solutions' total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services is limited to the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of energy production, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Deposit: A deposit may be required upon acceptance of a quote to secure your booking and order materials. The deposit amount will be specified in your quote.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed in writing.
- Overdue Payments: Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may incur an administrative fee. We reserve the right to suspend or withhold services until outstanding amounts are settled.
- Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer, credit card, and other payment methods as communicated at the time of invoicing.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. The following conditions apply:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid, minus any costs already incurred for materials ordered specifically for your project.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service date may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover preparation and scheduling costs.
- If materials have been custom-ordered or specially procured for your project, these costs may not be refundable.
- Nuvolt reserves the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, supply delays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will notify you promptly and arrange an alternative date at no additional cost.
8. Site Access and Preparation
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property for our team to carry out the agreed work. This includes ensuring the work area is clear of obstructions, providing access to the switchboard and roof (where applicable), and ensuring any pets are secured. If our team is unable to access the site or commence work due to conditions not disclosed prior to the appointment, a call-out fee may apply.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Nuvolt Electrical Solutions website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design, is the property of Nuvolt Electrical Solutions and is protected by Australian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our prior written consent.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first so we can work together to resolve the matter. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to participate in mediation before pursuing any legal proceedings. Mediation will be conducted in accordance with the mediation rules of the Resolution Institute of Australia.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
